BAMBOO MASK
In theatrical art forms of Vietnam, “tuong” is a unique art form, especially in how to paint a mask. Tuong mask is the soul of each character in each play. The audience just looks at the mask and immediately knows the personality of characters. With a simple bamboo mask which closes to daily life, we draw the image of Tuong characters with diverse and colorful expressions. With a glowing palette, each bamboo mask is considered to be a vivid artwork. Besides, the famous landscapes of hue, or lovely cartoon characters also become a subject for the artisans to show their creativeness. Bamboo mask can be used to decorate or become a unique souvenir for friends and relatives.
