HUE KITE
The kite is shaped like a rhombus, decorated with images of Vietnamese masks, or images of special cartoon characters such as Doraemon, Pikachu, Luphi.
Many people called Hue kite’s performance is puppetry in the air . Folk tales was brought to life by Hue kite carftmen . Flying Hue kites required not just passion, but inheritance and nonstop creativity about designing and performance art .
according to predecessors, Fyling Hue kites have been around hundreds years . Under Nguyen dynasty, flying kites simply was a game for children in the country side and it soon become emperors’s interests . People usually fly moon, sun kites ,but emperor’s kites has to differ from commoner’s kite . King flies phoenix , dragon kites .
